Fiordland Lobster Factory

The conversion of an existing building into a lobster factory required some major works.

Teak Construction in conjunction with Fiordland Lobster Company’s nominated subcontractors cut up floors, chopped holes in the walls, installed new ceilings, build lobster holding tanks and prepared the floor.

One of the challenges on this project was that all products had to manage the salt environment. There have been no defected products on this to date.

In addition, Teak also reconfigured the offices to provide space for the FLC staff, training facility and general offices.
