Mitre 10 Extension

Mitre 10 Albany needed more space to house their growing range of products. Teak Construction Group built a new, larger 2,000 sqm garden centre, a new cafe next door and a new inwards goods and store facility.

Teak Construction Group completed construction of the facilities in stages to minimise disruption to the store, using mainly precast concrete and structural steel. We prefabricated the garden centre crop cover roofs onsite before using a 250 tonne crane to move them into position. This innovative approach reduced the building program by six weeks.
